Cement companies before October 15 cancel the discount / rising prices are under review

The secretary of the cement association said the reduction in cement prices in some provinces and the increase in prices would be eliminated.

According to the press release, Abdul Reza Sheikhan stated that the last price approved for cement is June 30, 2008, saying to Fars: after this date, due to stagnation and falling demand for cement, most factories have reduced their supply of cement they did.

He continued: Recently, in coordination with the managing directors of cement companies, we concluded that the continuation of the supply of cement with a discount will cause the closure of cement factories. For this reason, to prevent the closure of factories and to balance supply and demand, it was stipulated that discounts should be reduced.

Sheikhan, referring to the implementation of the elimination of cement price cuts in some provinces, said: We expect the price cut for all factories to be canceled by October 15th. This is while the 30% discount has reached 10-12%, but we still have not reached the price of the year 93.

He said about the possibility of rising cement prices: “Our demand is to increase the price of cement with the approval of the Ministry of Industry to help cement factories, and at least as much as the inflation rate in recent years, this price increase. At least one Moon is needed to finalize these reviews.
