KCIC establishment story goes back to opening a private jetty for loading minerals in 2000. The maximum loading capacity of this jetty was 5000 tons per vessel which increased to more than 50,000 Tons by execution a development plan between 2005 and 2008. The idea for construction of this cement factory adjacent to this jetty was formed in 1998. The factory construction project started in 2003 and finished in 2009. In 2002 KCIC changed from private to public joint stock. In 2012 the company was concentrated mainly on achieving the nominal production capacity. As of 2013 special focus was held on export and thanks to high quality of products, the markets were developed rapidly. In 2017 utilization of last part of clicker shipment conveyor belt from the reserve silos to the ship, increased the loading speed considerably and created extra attractions for customers.
